What work does Ripleys do?

Ripleys promotes talent in all areas of the film, television and photographic industry. We supply extras, featured extras and character faces for feature films, commercials, television drama, mini-series, comedy, documentaries, music videos, education and training films, theatre and short and independent films. How many people do we represent?

As Ripleys is a small boutique style of agency it is important to us to keep our talent numbers small each year. Ripleys represents approximately 250-300 people. This also includes families.

How do we promote and market you?

Every person listed with Ripleys each year appears in our professional full colour headsheet and on this website. It is a requirement of this agency for all talent to be advertised with us in both the yearly headsheet and also on this website for maximum exposure to our clients.

Who are our clients?

As Ripleys is predominantly a film and television agency we deal mainly with casting directors and casting houses. We also work with advertising agencies, production companies, producers, independent film makers and photographic studios.

Do I need a portfolio?

No. Portfolios are not necessary for actors and extras. However, should you wish to undertake modelling or catwalk assignments, a portfolio can be useful display or professional indication of your work.

Can I register with more than one agency?

No. This causes confusion with the clients. Ripleys Management represents talent each year on the understanding that they are not currently listed with any other agency.
